Full-time faculty teach in small classes and are committed to student success by providing mentorship to students. Students complete a senior research project designed by the student in consultation with faculty.

Unique Engagement Opportunities

The Montesquieu Forum for the Study of Civic Life presents an annual series of public lectures with eminent speakers from around the world, followed by dinner and discussion. It has also hosted Summer Academies for high school teachers, high school essay competitions on the Declaration of Independence and essay competitions and conferences for °µÍø½ûÇøÆƽâ°æ Honors Students.

The philosophy program is deeply influenced by °µÍø½ûÇøÆƽâ°æ’s social justice mission, and that spirit is woven into our curriculum. The program is the perfect blend of logical rigor, social consciousness and existential questioning. In keeping with the University’s mission, a discussion of the nature of justice runs through most courses.
